The Cubs have reportedly reached agreements with nine of their first 10 picks in the First-Year Player Draft, including BYU outfielder Jacob Hannemann. The one player still unsigned among the top 10 is third baseman Kris Bryant, the second pick overall out of the University of San Diego. Negotiations will likely go up to the July 12 deadline between the Cubs and Bryant’s agent, Scott Boras. The slot value for the No. 2 overall pick is $6.7 million.

The Cubs reportedly have deals with pitcher Rob Zastryzny of Missouri (2nd round); Hannemann (third); pitcher Tyler Skulina of Kent State (fourth); pitcher Trey Masek of Texas Tech (fifth); pitcher Scott Frazier of Pepperdine (sixth); pitcher David Garner of Michigan State (seventh); pitcher Sam wilson of Lamar Community College (eighth); and pitcher Zachary Godley of Tennessee (10th). The team has only confirmed Zastryzny, Masek and Godley among the top 10.

Charcer Burks, a high school outfielder from Texas who was the team’s ninth-round pick, also has reportedly reached an agreement.

Hannemann agreed to a $1 million bonus, which is $250,000 over the recommended slot, according to Baseball America’s Jim Callis.

On Wednesday, Garner’s signing was announced by two other Cubs picks who have already agreed to terms. Masek tweeted: “Congrats to my roommate @DG_token16 on signing today! #Cubs.” Zastryzny also tweeted: “Got another #Cubs player sign today! Congrats @DG_token16 on making it official.”
